Biography
The Comeback
I started performing in London in 2005, reaching finals and semi-finals of new act competitions before quickly graduating to paid weekend gigs at clubs including Up The Creek, Frog & Bucket, The Stand, Alexanders, and Baby Blue.
In 2007, I made my Edinburgh Fringe debut at The Pleasance, appearing in the Bound & Gagged compilation show XXX (now AAA Late), alongside more established acts.
From 2008, I performed regularly in Newcastle under The Grinning Idiot banner, where I was resident MC. I worked alongside many of the UK circuit’s best-known names, including Angelos Epithiemou, Diane Morgan, Gary Delaney, Geoff Norcott, Jeff Innocent, Michael McIntyre, Reg D Hunter, Paul Sinha and Sarah Millican.
Eventually, the financial reality of running shows caught up with me. I stepped away from comedy in 2013 and returned to London, discovering—somewhat belatedly—that hecklers shouting “Don’t give up your day job” may have been offering sound financial advice.
Now in 2025, a combination of coincidences has pulled me back to the microphone. I’m writing again, performing regularly, and enjoying what feels like a genuine second wind—bringing original, dark, punchy material to new audiences.

KX Comedy Club
I'm starting up a new comedy club in 2026, under the brand name
KX Comedy Club.
I will be resident MC and will be attracting the best talent in the UK to the venue in Kings Cross, London.
